Day 1 Attendee Preparation Checklist
Whether you are traveling from within Delhi-NCR or flying in internationally, Day 1 preparation follows the same fundamentals: documents, transport, power, and patience with the announcement timeline.
Day 1 Essentials:
- Purchase tickets only through the official BookMyShow listing
- Carry government-issued photo ID matching your booking
- Fully charge your phone and bring a power bank if permitted
- Check the official prohibited-items list before packing
- Plan transport and a group meeting point near the venue
- Review final entry timing and gate assignments once published
Delhi-NCR is the confirmed planning region, but the specific venue is not. Hold off on booking hotels near an assumed stadium or arena until the official venue notice is published — then align accommodation with the confirmed entry gates and metro connections.
Day 1 vs Day 2: Planning Comparison
| Planning Factor | Day 1 (March 27) | Day 2 (March 28) |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed date | March 27, 2027 | March 28, 2027 |
| Lineup | Pending | Pending |
| Likely demand | Typically highest for opening day | Headline closers often land here |
| Travel benefit | Extra buffer day before Day 2 | Direct departure after finale |
| Best for | Fans wanting the full festival arc | Fans targeting specific closers |
If single-day tickets are offered, wait for the lineup split before deciding. Day 1 often carries the opening spectacle and fan-zone premieres, while Day 2 traditionally closes with the biggest headline slot.
